This project I was assigned required me to design a machine that's purpose was to harvest a unique material from an alien planet. I decided to design my machine so that it would harvest a liquid material from organisms, giving it a large needle to do it's work. I also wanted the pilot to be visible, so I created a barely recognizable humanoid that melds with the machine to drive it. I rigged and animated it with basic FK and IK controls.
